1. The Liturgy.
After teaching the life of repentance, Faith and Charity, from Ash Wednesday up to Ascension, the Ordinary Sundays begun to teach the three steps of evangelization, i.e. on how apostles are supposed to save souls referred to as the Apostolic Commission by Christ. The steps are, first, to go and teach all nations. Secondly, to baptise them. Thirdly, to teach them all the commands of Christ and how to observe them.
These three steps may be described in a more specific way as to teach all nations how to reason well in the natural way referred to as philosophy in the form of a syllogism. To teach all nations how to receive the necessary graces from God to proceed to the third step; which is to be able to obey the commands of Christ on Faith and Charity.
2. Putting it in a very personal way.
To be evangelised properly, I must reason properly that there is only one God and He is the Lord. I must pray for graces from God either through baptism and if I lose the baptismal grace through keeping the baptismal character, I must live a life of repentance unto the acquisition of the virtue of Penance for the forgiveness of my past sins.
With this grace, I must proceed to fill my mind with heavenly things and my heart with Divine Charity which consist in loving God and neighbour.
3. St. Thomas of Aquinas.
These four things mentioned above, good reasoning, graces, wisdom in the mind and love of God and neighbour in the free will can be attained through the Holy Eucharist as celebrated in the feast of Corpus Christi. The four above things can be attained through the sacrifice of the Mass, from the ‘confiteor,’ through the readings, the consecration and the receiving of Holy Communion.
The Liturgy of the Mass, in other words, is the official instrument of evangelization of the Catholic Church.
St. Thomas of Aquinas is one saint who attained the four above things through the Sacrifice of the Mass. He is a saint known to reason philosophically very well, to have received countless from God, had acquired great knowledge and wisdom through the celebration of the Mass. Anyone can do the same. He composed countless hymns, poems, prayers and a Mass for Corpus Christi showing through his treatises how the Apostolic Commission of Christ to His apostles can be achieved through the Liturgy of the Mass.
The Mass can evangelise souls and it for this reason that the devil had deprived the human race of the Mass during this pandemic. The end of evangelization can be attained through the Liturgy of the Mass even if there is no available priest, bishops or even Pope to celebrate the Mass. The monastic movement did not have frequent Masses and yet monks were very well catechised and the best missionaries like St.Boniface of Germany, and St. Austin of England, St. Bede. Because they lived the Liturgy in their daily lives.
It is for this reason that the devil had been trying to destroy the Liturgy with abuses but have not succeeded as of now.
